We supply our discs, apertures and codestrips not only to global manufacturers of rotary encoders, but also manufacturers of medical devices, optical control systems, inspection systems, positioning systems, etc.
Our products are available in the following materials:
Film: Polyester backing, standard thickness 0.18 mm. With photo layer usable up to approx. 60°C. Color: transparent.
Mayplex: Polycarbonate backing, available in standard thicknesses 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 mm and custom thicknesses. With photo layer usable up to approx. 100°C. Color: transparent and all colors in which polycarbonate is available.
Mayplexm: HT plexiglass backing, available in standard thicknesses 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 mm and custom thicknesses. With photo layer usable up to approx. 85°C. Color: transparent and all colors in which polycarbonate is available.
Mayplexcreflex: Polycarbonate backing, available in standard thicknesses 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5 mm and custom thicknesses. With photo layer and silver reflective layer usable up to approx. 100°C. Color: transparent and all colors in which polycarbonate is available.

Chromglas: Glass backing (commonly float glass), available in standard thicknesses 0.5 / 1.0 / 2.0 mm. With vapor-deposited chrome layer. Color: transparent.
Our proprietary material MAYPLEXC is being manufactured by Gebrueder Mayer GmbH in Constance, Germany since 1995. It was developed specifically for use in optoelectronic applications that involve transmitted light (e.g. encoder and timing discs).
